What is MODI and where can I get it?

ANSWER

MODI stands for MicroSoft Office Document Imaging. This is the optional Office feature that OCRThis uses to do its work.

To install MODI libraries, select MicroSoft Office in Control Panel/Programs and Features (Vista) or Control Panel/Add Remove Programs (XP). Right click, select "Change" then "Add or Remove Features". Check that "MicroSoft Document Imaging" under the "Office Toolos" section is selected.

MODI is only available in Office 2003 and 2007.
