UNIXTODOS converts Unix text file line endings in bulk fashion. This handy program works without complaining, whether you ask it to convert one or tens of thousands of Unix text files. This utility was written to fill a need for a Windows based Unix line ending batch conversion utility. This utility is especially handy when dealing with more than a couple thousand files, the point at which the batch ability of the native Unix unixtodos program fails for lack of command buffer space. UNIXTODOS was written to post-process OCR files that were created on a custom, high-speed Linux OCR server capable of generating between 100,000 to 200,000 OCR files per day. Select files by file extension or process all files in a directory at one time.
